Make America Go Away
The people of Greenland are having none of it, and most of the Free World agrees
Donald Trump’s lust for Greenland isn’t about national security. Or foreign policy. Or protecting it from the Russians or the Chinese.
It’s the craving of a petulant and deranged wannabe king. Another blingy thing, like a Nobel Peace Prize forced from the hands of the true recipient. The capture of a foreign leader for oil money. The demolition of the East Wing for a tacky ballroom. The faux-gold appliqués he uses to vandalize the walls of the Oval Office.
He threatens Greenland with invasion. Vows to hit NATO allies with punitive tariffs if they dissent. Then demands the world’s largest island be sold to him like a bauble at auction, with him as the sole bidder.
Once the beacon of the free world, America under Trump has become its anathema
Countries that have staged solidarity protests against his many tyrannies include Canada, Japan, Denmark, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and even Guam, the Northern Mariana and U.S. Virgin Islands.
Germany, Sweden, France, Norway, the Netherlands, and Finland have all since confirmed they are sending military personnel to Greenland. French President Emmanuel Macron has noted that a French military team is “already on the ground” and would be reinforced in the coming days with “air, sea and land components.”
Many European NATO nations are taking serious steps to solidify their own defense frameworks to reduce dependence on the United States as they prepare for a “post-American NATO.”

Unpopular around the world and increasingly so at home
Donald Trump continues to plunge in the polls on the economy, inflation, health care, foreign policy, immigration, tariffs, and his overall performance in office, which most Americans say is a failure.
As the midterms approach, expect more shock and awe, lashing out, and pushes deeper into authoritarianism.
It’s imperative to keep marching, protesting, and standing for democracy… and to keep mocking the madman.
