Jesus taught us to love our neighbors, serve the needy, practice compassion, and be instruments of peace. Christian nationalists promote hatred, intolerance, prejudice, and violence as a path to political power favoring the replacement of our democracy with a fundamentalist theocracy.

I recently had the opportunity to interview a key voice in the film, evangelical pastor Doug Pagitt.
