A long and telling history of being obsessed with young women.
They were 58 aspiring models from around the world, most between the ages of 14 and 19, competing in Elite Model Management’s “Look of the Year” competition. The annual event was designed to discover and launch new fashion models in the international marketplace.
At age 45, Donald Trump was already a high-profile figure in New York City society. His real estate ventures, including Trump Tower and his ownership of Mar-a-Lago, had propelled him into the spotlight.
His flashy, high-flying lifestyle earned him a reputation as a “playboy.”
Now he was a judge at the competition.
An article in The Guardian put it this way:
“On 1 September 1991, a large private yacht cruised towards the Statue of Liberty. It was a clear, breezy evening, and from the upper deck of the Spirit of New York, a golden sunset could be seen glinting off the Manhattan skyline. Downstairs, a party was in flow.
Scores of teenage girls in evening dresses and miniskirts, some as young as 14, danced under disco lights. It could have been a high school prom, were it not for the crowd of older men surrounding them.”
Trump took his daughter, Ivanka, along with him. She was nine years old.
In a September 2004 appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Trump reportedly said it was acceptable to refer to his daughter as “a piece of ass.”
While sitting next to Ivanka in 2006 during an interview on ‘The View,’ Trump said this:
From 1996 to 2015, Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe Organization, which included the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants.
This long history of being surrounded by young women gives context to why Donald Trump’s long relationship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein is so troubling to a majority of Americans, even MAGA loyalists.
This now-infamous video of Trump and Epstein shows the two men, who were best of friends, ogling NFL cheerleaders at a 1992 Mar-a-Lago party.
89% of the public favors releasing Epstein files
After long promising to release the Epstein files, Attorney General Pam Bondi, a long-time Epstein conspiracy theorist, now refuses to do so.
House Republicans brought legislative business to a halt this week, abruptly shutting down the House floor to block a planned vote on releasing the Epstein files.

Meanwhile, the president is making endless efforts to change the topic with stunts like releasing old FBI files on Martin Luther King, Jr., demanding the Washington Commanders football team change its name back to the Washington Redskins, and posting a phony AI-generated video of Barack Obama being arrested in the Oval Office.
